APPENDIX B. Experimental results for subjects B and C

In this appendix, we show the results of the experiments discussed in Section 3.3 for two additional subjects. Data for the last four trials (no physical damping, 100 Hz update rate) were not taken, as the subjects judged the walls to be of such poor quality that they did not merit quantitative measurements. Data from Subject A for these four trials (1 line per plot, shown in light gray) are plotted to gauge the improvement when damping is added. However, care should be taken not to assume that the results precisely represent the behavior of Subjects B and C.

Like the results for Subject A in Section 3.3, there are 16 total configurations shown for Subjects B and C (with four from Subject A). Four configurations are shown per plot, specifically highlighting the effect of inherent mechanism damping and update rate on Z-width. Discussion of the results is in Section 3.4.
