...The Automatic Contact Lens Cleaner

The Automatic Contact Lens Cleaner is a project by 3-2-1 Contact! (Team 24) for ME 333 Introduction to Mechatronics at Northwestern University.  The Automatic Contact Lens Cleaner is analagous to a clothes washing machine.  Contact lenses are inserted into the machine, attached to the suspended rod.  The lenses are put through a washing cycle and rinsing cycle, and then left to soak until the user returns to retrieve them.  The machine stops running the cycle if the door is opened, and it must be restarted with the door shut.  The system pauses at a filling stage if the water level in the supply is too low to continue.
