Jack is a proof-of-concept prototype that demonstrates the ability of a prosthetic terminal device, which uses both lateral and tip prehension. Jack gives patients the ability to perform a larger range of tasks in their daily lives than traditional terminal devices. Read a more detailed description or check out a movie of Jack in action.

The Jack Project was submitted as our final project in fulfillment of the requirements of ME333 Introduction to Mechatronics Winter 2003 at Northwestern University.
