Shaky Transport
MECHATRONICS 333
GROUP 25
Introduction
It is basically a vibrating platform that moves objects on top of it in a controlled manner. By using an asymetric waveform for the input voltage, it is able to make the objects translate in a particular direction at various speeds, rather than simply wobble back and forth. The picture below shows the table, and the rest of this site explains how it works in greater detail.

For mechatronics 333, our team consisted of two mechanical engineers, Eviatar Frankel and Mike Marchese, and one electrical engineer, Jody Koplo.  For our final project, "Shaky Transport," we decided to build a shaker table, an idea brought to our attention by professor Umbanhower.
